Almond Peanut Butter Delights

It’s always good to have a recipe on hand that is high on fat, protein and low on carbs, especially if you have a sweet tooth like I have. I prepared this Almond Peanut Butter Delights if I can call them like this, to satisfy my cravings especially after lunch. What can I do I want to be prepared and this is the easiest way to do it. IMG_0326  I got the recipe somewhere from Instagram. The recipe is quick, easy and no baking required. I got your attention right?

Ingredients: makes about 15-17 small pieces

  • 3 TBS of Peanut Butter (80g)
  • 1 scoop of Whey powder (chocolate or vanilla) – you can sub this with a TBS of cocoa but then maybe add some stevia or honey if you don’t like the bitter taste of cocoa
  • 3 TBS of cocoa
  • 1 TBS of flax seeds – blended
  • Water to thicken the base
  • Almond flour / coconut flour

Directions: Just combine all the ingredients in a bowl without the water. Mix them up with a fork and slowly add water so you get a thick base. Form small balls and coat them in almond flour. Do that for every piece and that’s it. IMG_0325 Simple as that. Just another warning – they are quite thick so don’t be fooled that you can eat them all at once. Macros per serving: cca 45-50 kcal: 1g of carbs, 3g of fat, 3g of protein

The same batter coated in coconut flour
